Serbian sports players have recently brought a lot of success to their country. Novak Djokovic won his 24th Grand Slam after defeating Danil Medvedev in the US Open Final, and the Serbian Basketball Team finished second in the FIBA World Cup Finals. This success, achieved by Serbian stars, calls for celebration, and they did just that with NBA superstar Nikola Jokic.

In a video currently circulating on social media, Jokic was seen celebrating with the Serbian basketball team and Djokovic. Jokic is mostly known as a quiet player on the court who doesn’t express enthusiasm in the NBA, but whenever he is in Serbia for the off-season, he is always seen celebrating or dancing.

Jokic has been taking full advantage of the off-season but will soon have to fly back to Denver to rejoin the team for training camp. So, he has been celebrating and partying as much as he can because when he arrives in Denver, it’s rare to see the other side of Jokic since he rarely shows excitement, given the fact that his priority after winning the championship and Finals MVP was to return to Serbia.

NBA fans react to Nikola Jokic celebrating with Serbian National team and Novak Djokovic

It’s rare to see Jokic’s celebratory side because whenever he is in the US to play for the Nuggets, he is focused on performing at his best for his team and helping them win a championship. So when fans saw him celebrating with his national team and tennis legend, they had a lot to say. Here are some of the reactions:

Not one practice all summer. And you know he’s still gonna dominate bc he’s just built that way

Jokic will soon be lacing up for the Nuggets as the off-season wraps up and will hope to pursue another championship and another MVP campaign next season. The Nuggets have lost key players in Bruce Brown and Jeff Green in free agency but are still among the favorites to win the championship next year, largely due to Jokic’s contributions.
